Hello! We’re Emma and Christian, a couple who decided in 2025 to leave behind their lives working in tech in London to travel the world and teach English in Asia. Emma is from the West Country in England and studied archaeology before shifting into tech, and Christian grew up in Argentina and spent most of his 20s teaching skiing and snowboarding in Argentina and Switzerland.
When planning our trip (and even now when trying to figure out new adventures on the road) we have struggled to find answers to our travel questions, so we decided to start our own blog, focusing on the things we wish we knew before we did them!
We share content about how to plan your trip, what to do when you get there, where to eat as a tourist, and our experiences travelling as a couple. Our blog is also budget friendly – we generally spend $10 or less each per night on accommodation, and around $15 each on food – so we’ll show you how to travel well on a modest budget, whilst generally avoiding cramped hostels and stomach aches!
